Department Of Microbiology
The department of Microbiology is located in the second floor of Academic Building.It provides services for the diagnosis of infectious diseases of a bacterial, viral, parasitic, fungal or tubercular nature.
The aim and objectives of the department are :
To provide an over view of Medical Microbiology and the impact of Microorganisms on life.
To explain the mechanisms of transmission, mode of infection, pathogenicity of bacterial, viral, fungal and protozoan diseases.
To teach students a range of practical microbiology skills, methodology of collecting information.
To provide accurate diagnosis of infection for effective treatment.
