Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients and provide routine and emergency coverage in the ICU.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, IV access, and ventilator management.
- Conduct daily rounds, update treatment plans, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Adhere to clinical safety, infection control, and hygiene protocols.
- Coordinate with consultants and the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care.
- Manage ICU admissions and protocols.
- Follow departmental on-call and duty schedules.
