The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is also a well established department. The department offers all the routine obstetrics and gynecology services. In addition, the department manages high-risk pregnancy by prenatal diagnostic testing like chorion villus sampling, amniocentesis, foetal colour doppler and velocimetry studies. Cancer screening for perimenopausal women using colposcopy and colour doppler studies are also conducted. Endosdcopic surgeries including hysterocopy and laparoscopy are routinely performed.The department is well supported by paediatric department in the management of new born. It regularly runs a breast feeding program in coordination with Nutrition & Dietetics department.
